Is This Love or Superstition

I don't know,

How can I show,

Wish I could say to you,

How much I need you,

Our best times are gone,

Words to say I have none,

The strings of our hearts vibrate,

And your lovely voice makes me resonate,

The times we spent together,

I am trying to gather,

So that I can live; with you absent,

Yet your face shall always remain present,

Somehow I cannot feel that depth of your love,

But your touch is like the purity of a dove,

I cannot give into the temptation,

For our love is a very complex equation,

Remember our times of loving,

But those memories are always moving,

Our talks had no conditions,

And we talked in all situations,

Yet there came no conclusion,

For you never took my love for inclusion,

Hence no evaluation,

And I felt lot of seclusion,

Despite my sad position,

I don't know is it love or superstition,

Yet all this mental juxtaposition,

Is making me lose my composition,

I hit my head on the pavement,

But I couldn't improve my heart's betterment,

What hurt me the most,

Was the fact that you didn't boast,

Please accept our love for all the reason,

I am tired of this mental treason,

Want to break out of this prison,

I am a man on a waylaid,

Tired of your verbal manipulation,

Oh God! Give me sedation,

I just want to be in your arms,

Our love should have no qualms!

Just say yes..

Just say yes

I am very picky when it comes to poems. I am sorry to say this is not my favorite but, I am sure it means something to you and that is all that matters.

Funny that some of the comments refer to it being hard for a man to write - check out how many song writers out there are men - it's not hard for them to do it - they just have to have the desire to put it down in black & white - as Ravi did.

This is a nice poem, but it could have more depth and introspection.
